STAINLESS STEELS

316L (1.4404) Stainless Steel

316L (1.4404) Stainless Steel

As a low carbon version of stainless steel, 316L is immune to grain boundary carbide precipitation (sensitisation). This makes 316L 1.4404 suitable for use in high gauge welded components. In addition, 316L is an easy-to-machine, rust-free and acid-resistant steel.
