CuCrZr (Copper-Chromium-Zirconium)

CuCrZr (Copper-Chromium-Zirconium)

CuCrZr is characterised by high electrical and thermal conductivity with a very good strength level. It also shows excellent resistance to softening. The mechanical properties of this alloy make it suitable for many applications where conductivity is required and the component is subjected to high temperatures and stresses.

Usage of Areas:

  • Electrode tips and discs for low carbon steels and galvanised sheets
  • Casting moulds
  • Cooling parts and moulds for casting non-ferrous metals
  • Contacts, studs, contact bars
