1.2365 Hot Work Tool Steel

1.2365 hot work tool steel is used for the production of press matrices, mould inserts, dies for casting non-ferrous metals, tools and stamps for pressing and stamping. It is characterised by high hardenability, excellent thermal conductivity, resistance to temperature differences during water cooling and annealing resistance.

It is frequently used in difficult hot work tooling applications such as hot punches, forging dies, hot cutting knives, extrusion tools.
