Aluminium 2007 grade alloy is an Aluminium alloy with a copper content typically between 4.0 and 5.0%. It is also a low-chipping alloy suitable for machining, threading and high machining speeds. The alloy has a low corrosion resistance and is not suitable for welding due to its high copper content.
