Aluminium 6026

Aluminium 6026

Developed to meet European Environmental Protection Directives, grade 6026 aluminium alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for anodizing to provide both decorative and hard anodized surfaces. The alloy does not contain Tin (Sn) as the inclusion of this element can cause cracking in machine parts when exposed to stress and high temperature. The 6026 grade aluminium alloy is well suited for extensive machining, especially in high-speed automatic lathes.

Usage Areas:

  • Electrical and electronic parts
  • Machined parts
  • Automotive components
  • Hot forging
  • Hard anodized
  • Brake systems
