Aluminium 7020

7020 Grade Aluminium Alloy is a heat treatable alloy that naturally hardens and therefore recovers properties in the heat affected zone after welding. It is a heat treatable aluminium alloy with zinc added as the main alloying element. This improves the mechanical properties of the material and increases its resistance to fatigue stress.

Usage Areas:

  • Railway transport,
  • Aircraft storage containers,
  • Highly loaded construction components such as bridges and mobile cranes
  • Armoured vehicles
  • Motorcycle and bicycle frames
