Aluminium 5052

5052 Grade Aluminium Alloy contains nominally 2.5% magnesium and 0.25% chromium. It has good machinability, medium static strength, high fatigue strength, good weldability and very good corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments. It also has low density and excellent thermal conductivity common to all aluminium alloys.

Usage Areas:

  • Boiler making
  • Containers, trailers
  • Nameplates, road signs
  • Architectural cladding
  • Welded pipes
  • Chemical industry
  • Irrigation desalination units
  • Pressure vessels
  • Rivets
