Aluminium 6082

6082 aluminium alloy has the highest strength of all 6000 series alloys. Often referred to as a ‘structural alloy’, 6082 is predominantly used in high-stress applications such as trusses, cranes and bridges. 6082 offers excellent corrosion resistance and has replaced 6061 in many applications.

Usage Areas :

  • Roof Trusses
  • High stress structural applications
  • Bridges, cranes and girders
  • Mining equipment
  • Hydraulic systems and parts
  • Ship masts and beams
