CuCo2Be (Cobalt-Copper Beryllium)

CuCo2Be has good mechanical properties and high thermal and electrical conductivity. It is a precipitation hardened copper alloy with high hardness and high temperature resistance.

Usage of Areas:

  • Electrodes, welding discs, plastic moulds for spot welding,
  • Inserts for steel tools (to speed up the cooling process), nozzles and needles,
  • Production of piston ends and non-ferrous metal moulds for aluminium casting machines
  • Metal casting moulds
