Case Hardening Steel

Case hardening steels typically have a relatively low carbon level (0.10-0.25%) and are one of the best steel choices when there is a demand for variable properties such as components such as gears, piston pins, pulleys, etc.

Case hardening steels have a structure with a hard surface and a relatively soft core.

Specifications :

  • Extra strength and shock absorption.
  • It can withstand more force without succumbing to deformation.
  • It shows high level resistance against abrasion and corrosion.
  • Suitable for use in areas where machine parts require strength and strength.

Usage of Areas :

Case hardening steels are used for various structural parts (light and medium strength) piston pins, bevel gears, transmission shafts, krameyer gears, sprockets, mahruti gear, ring gear, etc.
