Alloy Steel is a type of steel that is formed by adding many other metal and non-metal elements (with different variations) to carbon steel. Alloy steels show a variety of environmental, chemical and physical properties that can vary depending on the elements used to make the alloy. Different proportions of alloying elements give steel different mechanical properties.
